This is where I am supposed to profoundly sum up my life story and tie it up with a neat little bow.
Unfortunately, I’m all out of bows. I have more like a gift bag with lots of stuff just sort of jumbled up inside. Don’t get me wrong – it’s good stuff, just not very organized.
This is what this page used to say:
I’m Shea. I’m from California. I now call Wichita, Kansas home. This is temporary. Though I’ve been saying that for three years, so we may need to redefine temporary. I have a Pug, Lola and a cat, Lexie. I have a day job. A kind of important, pretty good day job. I also have a side job (see: www.mtvrealityworld.com). And then I have this lil’ blog where I pretty much write about whatever strikes my fancy. I’m single and not really looking. It’s too exhausting. Just the idea of dating makes me perspire. But when I do date, I write about it in all of its glory and lack thereof. I am kinda into stuff like learning about how to be a more environmentally and socially responsible person (whoa – hit you with some heavy stuff for a second). I like (in no particular order): shoes, Starbucks, Pugs, DG, shopping, jazzercize (woot!), writing, napping, sunbathing, wine, bunco, TV, free stuff, reading, volunteering, cooking, beer, and a whole bunch of other stuff, but we’ll stop there.
But now it should say:
I’m Shea. I’m from California and after a temporary stop on the road of life in Wichita Kansas, I’m headed back to where I started from. Northern California, here I come!! I’m about to embark on my next adventure back in the Sacramento area where I have just accepted a job as a blogging/copywriting/PR/marketing, uh, person? Professional? After an initial bout of sadness over leaving my family of friends here in the ‘Ta (and my really cute, $670 a month, two bedroom apartment), I am now just ecstatic about rejoining my family and friends back home. Santa Cruz! Lake Tahoe! San Francisco! Trader Joe’s! Nordstrom Rack! Sushi! *sigh* I can’t wait.
So that’s me. The updated version. Enjoy!

I know what DG is but I’m gonna pretend that your referring to me b/c those are my initials.
Hey, if I start a blog, can I borrow that line? I was thinking “Searching for the ocean for seven years now”. I don’t now what DG is, but Dollar General, Disturbed Gum, Diesel Generators and Deutsche Grammophon records are OK by me. What’s your day job? – Andy
Hello Ms. California in Kansas!
Google is a funny thing. That how I happened upon your blog. However it is Sam from Sundance that brought me here. Any chance of emailing me back? A very strange thing happened on the way to the Forum…

You are gonna be so close to me! We will have to have lunch! Yay!
